The joker silently stands still in the rain,
drenched from head to toe,
looking around for someone....
the paint running loose, he wipes his face,
Up in the far east, dawn nears,
He's happy, no one's around...
how can anyone see him like this,
He puts a grin back on, before he's found
The joker smiles in the rain, he tried very hard today....
the audience was receptive, lights good....
there was a lot of self-humor involved
in the middle of the stage he stood....
The show was a success...again....
he had the audience in splits....
while they were wiping tears from their eyes....
to backstage quietly he slipped....
Back there he was alone, no one by his side....
he didn't know what to do next
no one one to talk to....
no one to confide....
He sits there, maybe an hour, maybe two.....
I'm really not sure
waiting for someone to come in....
someone to give HIM a cure....
Its been a long time, since he had a laugh,
a long time indeed, since he laughed his guts out....
a long time since someone understood what he wanted...
long since he met someone, he couldn't do without....
After 3 long hours, he packs his things....
puts it in a gunny bag, over his shoulder which he slings....
He walks towards the door, never to return again...
turns off the lights, and walks out into the rain....
But little did he notice the dark corner of the hall....
the silent silhouette of someone sitting still...
not afraid of the quiet and dark...
she is prepaid to wait until
Following him around, attending his every show,
unknown to the joker, she has been his forever....
as the joker walks out into the rain, never to return
she still sits there, with the candle,
prepared to meet him....
Waiting. Leaving never.....

By penning down such a lovely poem u delivered the message to everyone that, every person regardless of his position has a heart inside him which is not seen by everyone :) Its just too.....(U fill in the dash^_^)
